The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF), announced today that effective June 28th United States Dressage Federation members, who have an active USDF participating membership and are USEF members, can now obtain one joint USEF/USDF membership card as opposed to two separate cards.
The card can be accessed online and carries both of the individual membership numbers. The USEF already has a joint membership card with the United States Hunter and Jumper Association (USHJA) and now anyone who is a member of all three organizations, USEF, USDF and USHJA can also obtain a card with all three membership numbers on it by accessing it online through the USEF. (Or, if they are a USEF member and also a member of just one of the other organizations they can obtain a card with both numbers.) The USDF will provide the joint cards for USDF and USEF members only.
The new card is part of a joint USDF and USEF effort to streamline the paperwork required for exhibitor show entry and compliments the online USEF/USDF Master Verification capability made available in October 2006.
To print the joint card through the USDF go online here . There are two ways for current members to print joint cards online through USEF. To print it through the search function go to the USEF website, on the left hand side of the homepage go to “Searches” and select “Memberships” from the drop-down menu. Fill in either your membership ID number or your first and last name. When the file with your membership information appears, simply select “Print Card.” You can also access it through your Authorized User Account by clicking on “Sign-In” in the lower right hand corner of the homepage. Fill in your Authorized User Account information. When the window opens look for “Membership Options” below that click on “2007 Proof of Membership Card Reprint.” Your card will appear and simply click on “click here to print.”
This is one less card you have to copy and carry around :)
